A new film directed by Daryl Goodrich plays a key role in translating this idea onto screen.
Focusing on the fact that the 2012 Games are not just for athletes but for anyone who's ever
experienced the elation of effort, pushed themselves in any way or even just tried something
they hadn't before, the film tries to convince the whole country to find the Olympic spirit
    within themselves.

Setting the example are Hannah Kritikos, Mary Athay, Fire Stead, Bharti Patel and Michael Murphy,
five very different people who have pushed themselves by taking up a variety of inspiring
challenges: from having given up smoking and taking up karate, or losing weight and founding a
health magazine, to overcoming a degenerative muscle disorder and excelling in horseriding, this
fivesome's actions are the ultimate translation of the Olympic spirit that London 2012 is keen
to infect the whole country with in the next five years.
